Pack a Backpack, Change a Life: Join Our 2026 School Supply Drive

The start of a new school year brings a familiar wave of excitement. But for many families in our local community, this time of year brings immense financial stress instead of excitement.
Every child deserves to begin the school year equipped with success instead of feeling left behind because they lack basic learning tools.
That is why Moore Law is hosting our annual School Supply Drive, supporting students and schools throughout Hillsborough and Pasco counties.
The Real Impact of Your Donation
Many local families suffer economic disadvantages that make purchasing basic school supplies difficult. In fact, nearly 62%, or 137,000, children throughout Hillsborough County Public Schools lack essential supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, and pencils. Nationwide, one in four students found themselves unable to start the school year with the materials needed to succeed in the classroom.
A school supply drive is much more than the supplies donated. It is about giving students confidence and an equal opportunity to thrive. When a child has their own supplies, they can:
- Focus better on their academics.
- Feel equal to their peers.
- Stay motivated to participate and excel in class.
Most Needed Supplies:
If you are shopping for donations, these are the items our local teachers and students need the most:
- Backpacks (for all age groups)
- Notebooks, Binders, and Folders (college and wide-ruled)
- Writing Tools (pencils, blue/black pens, highlighters)
- Art Supplies (crayons, colored pencils, markers)
- Classroom Essentials (tissues, disinfectant wipes, glue sticks, scissors, loose-leaf paper)
Drop-Off Location and Deadline:
We are accepting donations from July 13th, 2026, through August 7th, 2026. You can find our collection bin at this convenient location, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm:

Let’s Build a Brighter Future Together
At Moore Law, our goal is to ensure local students are given the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential. As a proud supporter of Skybrooke K-8 and Mort Elementary School’s Honor Society, we have seen firsthand how community support helps children thrive inside and outside the classroom.
Whether you’re able to donate one notebook or a backpack filled with supplies, a small act of kindness can change the trajectory of a child’s life. We invite our neighbors, friends, local professionals, and anyone able to contribute to join us in helping students and schools begin the school year ready to learn.
